problem with dell

Hi I have a dell laptop inspiron 1521 and it runs really really slow after it is left alone for awhile. I ran a pcpit.com test and it says I have "unusually low memory performance" I have 2 gigs of memory and dont know whats wrong. I ran a hijackthis scan and this is what it came up with. one more thing when i "fix it" is it suppose to come back the next time i run hijackthis? The files that i fixed came back when i restarted it and ran it again

No they shouldn't come back. Sometimes the Apple ones do the next time you update iTunes or other Apple software, but specifically that O16 shouldn't be there anymore. Did you check all of the boxes I said to and then click "Fix Checked" and agree to it? If you did, try it again and see if it works.

How'd the memory test turn out? Are you still having problems with it being slow?

The memory test found no errors and the hard drive test didn't find any either, but we did solve my slow problem. We found that Mcafee was being a hog and using all my memory so I uninstalled that so it runs fine now. Thanks for all your help!

McAffee is bad on memory, and I see you have AVG, which is just as good and its free. Plus its a little better on memory.
