My Isp has jacked me up for something I was never informed would not be automatically disconnected( a promo of there super super duper High speed)
Got the bill today.......almost had a heart attack. 300$ in the next 2 days...ain't going to happen:sad2::rolleyes2. Plus 953$ for over downloading my limit and past due fines. ;D;D:nudge:......never going to see that I assure you
Thank you for being the greatness IC definitely is. I will be back as soon as I find an ISP that is more reasonable.
Oh and there goes half the money I had saved for a new system.

Shaw, and I was never even told about any bandwidth limits. Must have been that 300Gb to 400GB of linux distros:wink:. Funny thing is - I have been paying 60 to 90 every month and every thing seemed fine until this recent bill showed up. The money hungry turds. Oh and apparently I'm buying my modem now not as before when it was part of the package(free). Have no fear this is going to court after I pay the 300, they will never see that 900+, never!

We do have some alternatives, but they are usually small vendors with crazy prices and definite download restrictions. There is Telus... but I got into a money fight with them as well= I won. Many of those companies will take advantage of unwary customers:hrm:. I am on such a tight budget that I watch all my money and credit like a hawk.

What isp did you have (Im guessing rogers or bell), You should check out teksavvy (http://www.teksavvy.com/) if there in your area.

They offer an unlimited bandwidth package for $39.99 a month, (5000/800 connection). And have the best rating on dslreports.com for a Canadian isp (http://www.dslreports.com/comment/2564/60297)
