Beer pong.

Warning: If you are on my team in Beer Pong, you will lose, but you will get DRUNK. So I guess you will end up winning. Oh and how about a rule like this: Your team gets skunked (makes no cups), team has to run around the tent butt naked.

But for all seriousness, I will be bringing Total Annihilation if some people want to get into an old school RTS throwdown.

Other than that, I mainly just play Valve games these days.

TA is a lot of work to install and configure. Have you tried Spring (http://spring.clan-sy.com/)? It was a big hit with my friends at our last LAN. Spring is an open-source TA remake with a modern 3D engine that plays very much like TA with AI's are nearly impossible for a turtler like me to beat.

TA takes almost no time to install or configure and has no load times on a modern computer.

I am going to try Spring though, I like the look of it.

TA takes almost no time to install or configure and has no load times on a modern computer. But then you have to do the maximum unit hack, no-cd hack, the unit packs, and coax one of the third-party patches to install without wrecking everything. Usually takes me three tries to get the patch order right. Otherwise peeps use one of the well-known exploits that never got fixed (invincible pelicans anyone?)

Ughhh. DK2 makes me weep. Honestly I wrote a guide to get DK1 to work on LAN for XP and Vista 32-bit for the singular reason that the sequel left so much to be desired.

FPS: gotta be TF2
RTS: will play anything decent, CNC3 I haven't played much since its release but would be willing. (some Warcraft3 TD or other would be golden as well:bigggrin:)

And of course the extra-curricular activities sound like a good time as well:bigggrin:

I'd actually like to try World in Conflict with as many people as we can get. Multi-play is supposed to be fun on it when larger groups.

I have played this at LANs (about 8 people total) and it is excellent. Would be down with WiC.
