When I start the PC, it gives me options such as.....

Boot to safe mode , normally, ETC...

No matter what I choose it starts the process over again and again.

Have you tried to do a repair install.

I'm assuming you have XP?

No, I have not tried a repair install as of yet (how would I do this?). I was wanting to see what my options were.

Yes, I do have Windows XP Home on the computer.

Any advice?

Thank you.

grab your XP cd, pop it in, and select Repair Install and that should be it...

you may need to get into CMOS and change your boot order so that CD-ROM is first

Hey now, slow down. Before going through with a repair install I would atleast boot to Windows recovery console and run "chkdsk /r" :D

Let me know if you want exact instructions on how to do this.

Also, is there a blue screen when it reboots, even for a second? When you get the list of Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking, etc... do you have the option to disable automatic restart after system failure?
