Hi im need some help[ with my computer as when i turn it on it beeps then says that the secondary hard drive is not found. It isnt in my computer but was working fine yesterday!? please help

Did you have a second hard drive in there? Or only the main drive?

I don't know, but it wont play disks in the cd rom either?

Based on the information, I'm hazarding a guess on this. The sx260 is an ATA drive system and I think that the Hard drive is on the primary bus and the optical (CD or DVD player) is on the secondary. My first instinct is that it could be your optical drive.

Get into BIOS (check your owners manual if you don't know how) and see if it even sees the drive. If it doesn't, check the connections (power and cable)and see if they are okay. You might try swapping it out with another if you or a friend have a spare and look in BIOS again. Be sure to pin the drive to match that of the one you replace (be it Single or CS).
