There is already a Chernobyl level, Bloc im multiplaer takes place in Papyrat (you can see the Chernobyl ferris wheel in the distance) and the epic sniping level in SP takes black from Papyrat and goes to Chernobyl.

yeah, if a game could render that diving board image (http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/nn211/garfield61/chernobyl_pripyat_pool.jpg) in real time (with all the broken glass and debris), I would really like to play that game just to see and hear everything crunch under my feet ...stalker WAS kinda creepy in some parts, but didn't impress me

i would be playing right now the ghullie mission in COD4 in recruit so i could show you the places in game. not all parts where taken. only some of the apartments and the trade mark of the place. the amusment park and the hotel. but some of the roads that you see in the GPS map are identical, GPS in COD4 map i mean. Now here are the pics from COD4. just scroll up and down, match em XD.

that is pretty sweet, not many people realize how realistic COD4 is compared to real life chernobyl, or that COD4 is even based on chernobyl, cool stuff

Thanks a lot! It just went into my mind while playing COD4 the ghullie mission, whoa, chernobyl, havent researched about it a long time ago, so when i searched, prypyat, chernobyl, and COD4 appeared. i was really surprised, WTF COD4? i think that, "ohhh the game map yeah". so i kinda put it asside- then went finding pics of prypyat. as i browsed the net, saw the pic of the ferris wheel. i think called STALKER. i was uber noob to say "wow nice rendering what GPU did he used SSing this pic? then enlarged it, saw that it was a true picture XD. and there is this website, if you wanna view more photos of prypyat, www.prypyat.com (http://www.prypyat.com)
