Well like some of the 7000 nvidia series has more memory then some of the 8000's, and from what I've heard the 9600 is worse the the 8800's
So is the GTS's Better then the GT's?

There's no way to order any of them. All the parts work in unison to make one card better than another. It's like asking "Which body part makes a figure skater the best?" You can't answer it, because all the parts are working together to make the whole.

Cards that look amazing on paper can be hampered with crappy drivers, or simply not turn out as planned.

Read reviews. That's the only way to know for sure.
