i didn't write this, i got it as an e-mail, I inspired me so here it is

Easy is to get a place is someone's address book.
Difficult is to get a place in someone's heart.
Easy is to judge the mistakes of others.
Difficult is to recognize our own mistakes.
Easy is to talk without thinking.
Difficult is to refrain the tongue
Easy is to hurt someone who loves us.
Difficult is to heal the wound...
Easy is to forgive others.
Difficult is to ask for forgiveness.
Easy is to set rules.
Difficult is to follow them...
Easy is to dream every night.
Difficult is to fight for a dream...
Easy is to show victory.
Difficult is to assume defeat with dignity...
Easy is to admire a full moon.
Difficult to see the other side...
Easy is to stumble with a stone.
Difficult is to get up...
Easy is to enjoy life every day.
Difficult to give its real value...
Easy is to pray every night.
Difficult is to find G~d in small things...
Easy is to promise something to someone.
Difficult is to fulfil that promise...
Easy is to say we love.
Difficult is to show it every day...
Easy is to criticize others.
Difficult is to improve oneself...
Easy is to make mistakes.
Difficult is to learn from them...
Easy is to weep for a lost love.
Difficult is to take care of it so not to lose it.
Easy is to think about improving.
Difficult is to stop thinking it and put it into action...
Easy is to think bad of others.
Difficult is to give them the benefit of the doubt...
Easy is to receive.
Difficult is to give.
Easy is keep the friendship with words.
Difficult is to keep it with meanings.
The language of friendship is not words,
but meanings....
Easy to read this.
Difficult to follow.
If opportunity doesn't knock,
build a door...

G~d?

G~d =God

Some people (apparently the person who wrote this) believe it is disrespectful to use the name of god other then in prayer, same goes for writing

A non-tech site I am a member of had this discussion. Many Orthodox Jews believe this, as do some Christian sects.

I believe in not taking The Lord's name in vain, but I guess there are some much more strict about it than I.

I try not to say His name when exasperated, but sometimes I do out of habit.

What bothers me very much is to hear and hear/see people take Jesus' name in vain. Not that it's any worse, really, but to say "G~d" is common-place, but when people say things like "Jeezus" or "Geezus" it is offensive because it looks like a deliberate irreverence towards those that believe in Christ. You never hear a Christian say, "Oh Buddha!" or "Oh Allah!" for two reasons: 1 It's not at all common. 2. It would be extremely disrespectful towards those that think highly of Buddha and towards those that praise Allah.

Anyway . . . :)

How delightfully hyper-sensitive.

Oh God, or Jesus Christ as a mark of exclamation or quick repentence originally started as a quick way to ask for forgiveness for doing something wrong or unbearably stupid.

As a product of eventuality, the phrase became so common that it was adopted into dialect as a common phrase having lost all meaning.

You can thank your fellow Christians for that one.

Deliberate irreverence. :rolleyes2

I don't think it's fair to criticize someone for living up to their beliefs. He wasn't dictating what others should do, merely stating what bothered him.

I'm mystified as to why you would think that a Non-Christian's use of a religious term is the fault of Christians.

The bible says specifically (one of the Ten Commandments) not to take the name of God in vain. It also says to "do unto others as you would have them do unto you". You don't have to believe in either of those, but why criticize those who do?

You still Da Man, though.
