I was wondering what brand RAM I should use for an upgrade...
DDR II SDRAM 2 GIG to go in an HP SR5410F
Is Corsair as good as the hype?
Depends which line of corsair you're talking about. The value stuff, is well good for the price, and as the ram becomes faster, the prices get higher. I've had 5 or 6 corsair sticks in my computers and I've never had a problem with them. I really like OCZ's stuff too.

It seems I have Qimonda in here now-never heard of it.

Since you may not overclock it, the DDR2 Corsair value RAM is just fine (I think your system is DDR2 800 aka PC26400). I would stay with brand name memory (like Corsair, Kingston and OCZ) and not wander from that path. Prices are great right now and paying more than $50 for this is paying too much.
Qimonda? I have no idea for PCs- they likely sell in bulk to HP- but I've heard of them in mobile devices.
