Since Prime keeps forgetting to give me access to the LAN planning forum  ;D

I will start this here.

I now have a quad core CPU we can put to good use. I thought I would build a system with 8GB of ram, the Quad, 64-bit OS.. blah blah and we can use it for the game server (should be able to run 3 maybe 5 games on it?..maybe all?)

What OS? Linux or Windows?

Throw in your ideas.

Thanks

Wow!:wow2: That is an awesome rig! I remember getting our dual Opteron server for Fusionxlan and that was a sweet server, very impressive!

OK... I guess I should make a thread about the gaming. I plan on bringing at least one PC to run as a dedicated server. Another one as kick butt as that would be great. Let me pop my thread and then we can figure out what OS to throw on it... Cool?

Try asking the other admin. You know, the one who does the vBulletin stuff? ;) :p You're all set.
