Upgrading my Proccesor

my Procz right now is a AMD sempron 1.6ghz +2800. i have browsed the web of other procz, but I dont know what kind of socket is in my mobo. could i still insert a 2 core procz in this old mobo? maybe it is still in date XD.. i dont know.. ahaha.. oh.. correct me if im wrong, K8M800 is a AM2 right?

BOOM solid hard! yep buddy the exact mobo. does it support the athlon x2? i wanted the black edition specificaly.

Any 754 processor. 754 is old school AMD64.

wow thanks. this system would be a waste if i would just replace it with a new one, anyway i got a 2nd rig with a 8800, BTW, heard the new AGP GPU? really wicked. a HD 3850 with GDDR3 512mb. AGP . that is really serious bussiness
