I have news, but it's of the fail variety. I'm moving in with my lady at the end of June, therefore I cannot attend LAN 08. We need to save and plane tickets, food, and such I cannot afford to spend right now.

Thats disappointing. In better news, I have successfully maneuvered the bureaucracy of my job to say that barring mechanical failure, I will be there :cool2:

.. and back to reality. Sorry to hear that buddy but that's what happens sometimes. Life gets in the way. Still, there will be other times to get together. You will be missed!

Okay, the truth is I'm scared of Jared. I shared a tent with him last LAN, and he kept trying to spoon with me, and a few times I even caught him nibbling on my ear. He whispered to me one night that if I didn't share a tent with him this year he was going to give me a "Texas Oil Drill," whatever that means.
