KeyboardJockey is the only other forum I go to that I visit regulary.
The others I haven't posted in for months, w/ the possible exception being Icrontic, but I probably don't average visiting Icrontic once a week.

AMDForums is cool. If you want a huge forum, look at ExtremeTech also-- http://www.extremetech.com. Computer Power User magazine has a forum that is medium in size, but that one I would say to google.Other than that, depends on if you are specializing and what skill level you have in the area you want to explore, so you might say also what you are most interested in discussing.

I try to post at icrontic as much as possible, but there's just never really anything interesting going on there. :(
I used to post a lot at addaboy.com but then some people just plain destroyed that site, made fun of a person whose friend died, and I'm done with that place
I post at keyboardjockey.com when there's something to post about :)
we need a ghetto olympics at SM

Ok, for networking, look at http://www.extremetech.com . They have a bunch of experienced folks who hang on forums and help with home networking problems among other things. There is a link on main site, you can read and not post with an anonymous entry, and sign up if you want to ask questions or participate.
Beginners might also want to use http://www.webopedia.com/ for open and free access to plain english definitions that are decent for all sorts of terms. Tech vocabulary is a lot of the learning barrier.
