View Full Version : Does DriverCleaner work in Vista?
Or perhaps Nasty File remover? I'm going to replace my 7950 Gt with an 8800 GT. I've never done this in Vista so I'm not sure.
Driver cleaner will work in Vista but it's not free anymore. $9.99 isn't bad though. All I can find are older versions of NFR and I don't know if they will work in Vista or not.

NVIDIA's drivers now contain a thorough driver remover.

I did not know that. Does that mean that if I remove it in 'control panel>programs and features' that constitutes the full uninstall or is it accessed some other way, say from Device Manager. I Googled this, but I'm not finding exactly what I'm looking for.

Both of those operations use the uninstaller.
I did both. That's the way it should be.
