Follow the red lines ladies and gents.

By "Xbox only" does that mean, the only console that will feature the game is the XBoX?

Or does that mean that it's only on XBoX period?

or maybe that level will just be on x-box. Probably something like that.

They wrote Xbox only for Doom 3 so i guess that means it will not come any other console. Consoles and PCs are differents markets so I guess its just marketing for the Xbox, nothing to do with the pc world.
Anyway, everybody knows that HL2 and Doom3 will look like sh*t on the Box.

Yeah, it looks like its just a pump up for XBox (The only console that will be able to run it hardware wise). Just looks like they are taking shots at PS2 because it can't run any of that stuff. It's still PC

Anyway, Playing HL2 or Doom3 with that Piece of garbage controller in 640*480 will completly waste the fun. I wonder when console makers will understand the KB+mouse is the way to go.

Microsoft may actually do with Halo 2 what they did with Halo - release it only on XBox until they figure they've maxed out their sales, THEN release it for PC. Doom3 and HL2 obviously meant XBox instead of other consoles, but Microsoft can play Halo 2 differently from those other titles...

Microsoft will do the same thing with Halo2 they did with Halo1. Works well for em, might as well do it again.

if HL2 was Xbox only then why are they selling ATI XT's with HL2 vouchers

Valve would be committing seppukku if they released it for Xbox only.

Xbox first? Well, that's still stupid, but it's better than no PC at all (unless it pulls another Halo.. and comes out 2 years later).
