Poor innocent car... :(
Well, atleast SOME part of the Benz is stylish now.
*Geeky1 smacks thrax upside the head for being an unsophisticated idiot*
Gotta admit some of the photoshops are pretty funny, tho...
"Why you should never get a blowjob on the freeway"
:wtf: ;D
Unsophisticated?
Do all Benz owners smack people, or just you?
Does the quality of your response (Negative) manifest itself from the car you drive?
;D
:Geeky's Buttons: <---- PUSH! :D
I don't know whether all 'Benz owners smack people or not... I haven't met all of them. :D
As for the quality... unfortunately, as of late, to an extent, yes. The newer (post-1997 or so) Mercedes are not up to the same standards as the ones before them were. The top-of-the line models (S, SL, CL) are close, but they still aren't quite as well made as they once were.
So, you're saying that they've slipped slightly to a Trabant, down from a Yugo?

Actually thrax, (yes, I know you were kidding)
Mercedes are used as taxis in just about every country in the world except the U.S., and possibly Canada & Mexico as well (don't know for sure).
The rest of the world gets the cheap models; the Mercedes we get over here are only the top 1/3 or so of each series; the cheapest E class we get is the E320, with a 3.2L V6; elsewhere, you can get an E200 (2.0L 4cyl).
They're used as taxis because they're comfortable to sit in for 8hrs a day, and they're like the Energizer bunny... they just keep going, and going, and going, and going... :D

Mr Bojingles: ROFL
haha omg that was so funny Mr_Bojingles classic.
Why is it that I say it at post #7, and Mr_Bojingles comes in at post 13, and says it again, but with the pic, and he gets all the credit?
Are your memories that bad? :D

:D A picture is worth 1000 words...You only had 10 words.
1000/10=100 So using that simple math equation I determined that the picture has 100 times more content then your statement.
Thus the reason I got the credit :p (please, someone correct me if I am wrong here)
You're wrong.
Why?
Because I SAID SO :D

I guess it would also cost more to import them.

Not a chance, unless you are willing to pay a $50.00 fare for a 1 block trip.
The Caprice & Impala are our Taxi's :D
Thought so. Same thing here. Except for a Buick taxi I was in in Chicago a few years ago... it had 900,000+ miles on it, and it looked brand new. The guy obviously took extremely good care of it.
There was an article in The Star (MB Club of America's magazine) a while ago about a Taxi driver in New York that had always wanted a Mercedes taxi, so he bought himself an E320 Diesel and had it turned into a taxi...
I've seen Camrys are taxis and a few S70s. Usually, they are Caprices, Impalas (both FWD and RWD), Crown Vics, and the odd Buick Regal. I even once saw a Toyota Echo as a taxi :eek2:. I saw that during the transit strike a few years ago.
Here in Brooklyn we don't really have taxis we use car service a lot more. 95% of car services cars are Lincoln town cars
