I will be out of town for the next couple days and probably off the web for most of it. My Grandfather could pass away at any time and we drove down to Louisiana to see him. 13+ hours in a car with a 6 month old, not fun.
Your thoughts and prayers are Welcomed.
Your family is in our thoughts.
We wish you the best.

Sorry Zan :( Try not to let the stress conquer you. It sounds like you'll have a lot of it thrown at you.

My prayers are with you.
I've just lost my grandmother a while back, so I definitely know how you feel.

I had almost the exact same trip when my Grandfather passed. It snowed all the way back from Ohio to Virginia, my daughter was 8 months old at the time, and she had the stomach flu which started 1 hour after we left my Uncles house. Not fun would be putting it mildly.
I will pray for you and your family Zan.

Thank you every one. He is still barely holding on. He is not eating or drinking any liquid.
The good thing is that i do get to see so much of my family. I hope to still be home in time to make it to the lan.

As bothered said, i can only say what's already been said. I'm very sorry to hear that, i really am. I lost my grandparents when i was 10 in a car accident, and as you can imagine i was very close to them. I know what it's like, and it's not easy. I hope by some miracle something happens to further his life and ease his suffering. Anyway, be safe on your drive, you're in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you all very much for your kind words. We have made it home safely to Cincinnati.
The funeral yesterday was very well done and a fitting close for a great man. I still plan to attend the Lan, though after so much driving this week I am not looking forward to the drive up. The reception there will make it worth while i am sure. ;)
My deepest condolences to you & your family, Z.
