;D ;D
Ok... on with the show, I was passing a car hauler on the way home from ICHQ.. I normally don't pay much attention, but I did a double take when this was on the back. He happened to pull off at the next exit, so I took advantage.
I hope others who have not seen one outside of Youtube/magazines enjoy. They look stunning in person.. Sticker is a bit much for me.

Alright! Just in time for $4/gallon gasoline! Oops, sorry. It would definitely be a fun car.

Those cars are impressively awesome.
On the way to the hat store, we saw a car hauler completely full of them. Our conversation was pretty much derailed at that point.

For (
((((MSRP*tax.rate*interest.rate)-down.payment)-green.rebate)/4.year.financing)
+
(12K.miles.per.year/12.months)/((city.mileage+hwy.mileage)/2)*gas.price.per.gallon)
=
cost.per month)
Challenger SRT6 (assuming $39,995 MSRP and 13/18 mileage) = $258/month in gas, $960/month in payments ($1219/month total cost)
(compare to the following, for example)
1983 Ferrari 308 GTSI Quatrovalve, 26K miles from eBay (assuming $30,000 price, 13.9 avg gas mileage) = $287/month in gas, $672/month in payments ($960/month total cost)
I just wanted to highlight that everyone talks about the price of fuel for the car, but usually it doesn't come close to making a difference in total monthly costs compared to the sale price.
On a side note, I put the 308 in there because it was difficult to find a vehicle that had alternative styling and that horrible of gas mileage. Yes, performance-wise it would get crushed by the Challenger, but it's on the list for the style. If you wanted to go the performance route:
2008 Lancer Evolution (assuming $33,665 MSRP, 17/22 mileage) = $205/month in gas, $808/month in payments ($1014/month total cost)

Oh man. On the trip to the hat store, it was a pure cargasm. There's nothing like the chubby you get from a truck full of Challengers and Hemis.
This would be my sixth purchase after a BIG lottery win...
1. All Current Bills Nixed
2. Over-Clock my wife's engagement Diamond ;)
3. BMW 3-series Hardtop Convertible for Wife
4. Bigger House w/ Extra Garage Bays :D
5. 2009 Grabber Orange Shelby GT 500
6. Sassy Grass Green or Plum Crazy 2009 Challenger SRT4 EDIT: Orange Pearl only available in Silver, Black, or Orange

Don't forget the increased cost of insurance for a new car...

$41k sticker price is madness. That converts to just a shade over £22k in the UK. You can't get an R32 or a base 3-series BMW for that money.

Yes but tooling around in a 6.1 litre 8 cylinder monster w/ your petrol prices would be very painful to the wallet.....
Are you buying the truck the car is on? That would be epic.
Forecast:
2009 LAN - Ryder comes to Primes house house sporting a new semi. He has names it Ultra Magnus. The up side is he brings plenty of parking.

It would be too epic NOT to! But I am not sure that this engine doesn't have that cutoff for 4 of the cyclinders when cruising.

I've never been a Mopar fan, but that is an awesome looking car!

something that gets lower mileage than my jeep. I like fast cars, but I don't think I could afford to drive on. My jeep gets 15mpg and it sucks. I want to get me a manual honda or something.
