I want to restore my computer to factory condition but I lost my restore discs. I called tech support and was on the hold for what seemed like a year and a half before giving up..I really want to wipe my computer clean though. It's been running awfully slow.
Are there any alternative solutions? My laptop's model is Satellite R25-S3503.
Thanks!
Only alternative is to get a copy of windows xp and use that to wipe it out. Or you could wipe it and install linux also.

If you want to do a clean install and you have your XP installation disc, just be sure to have a copy of all your drivers. You can do this by using a freeware "Driver backup" program (just google for one that looks right for you) or visit this page which is where Toshiba provide all the various drivers for your particular model.

If you don't have an installation disk, you might need to consider upgrading components and cleaning up your current installation as best you can. Let us know if you need any advice, once you decide what best suits your situation.....
