Express whatever really pisses you off....

My experience: Today I decided to have a bud over. I hadn't seen him in a while and thought it might be fun to "catch up." About 2ish hours after he shows up he gets a phone call from another friend of his about whether or not he would like to come over there and chill out. WTH! He actually goes and says he'll be back in an hour or two.

... All I can say is that i'm eating all the pizza I ordered

People who talk their way out of anything... I mean when you are a worthless POS and everyone including your bosses know your a POS and you are told that your fired and you manage you weasel your way back into the company that everyone knows you just got fired from.... well that's just skill I guess. But damn it I was _THIS_ close to getting a raise today. It's a bitch these guys are getting paid more than me for doing less and having been with the company for shorter period. How do they do that?!

What everybody has already said really. It can be summed up, other peoples ignorance. They often are not being nasty or anything, they just don't see, or care, that their actions may offend others. And the whole war thing. When I was growing up in the late 60s there was a real feeling that we could change the world, give peace a chance, love and peace man, far out, too much, etc. All that seems to have happened is that we have all gotten more cynical and selfish and found more reasons and more efficient ways to destroy ourselves, all perfectly justified, of course  It really is very sad, we could be so much more.

Mine's more industry specific, but when I'm working camera during a TV broadcast and an anchor at the desk tells me where to move the camera. Few things get me more angry at work. They don't know anything about how our shots are blocked, and moving the shot for them kills the on air product. It's always just for their own convenience, nothing more.

Do your job, and I'll do mine.

The same can be applied to all jobs, I'm sure.

And another thing. Today I was at dairy queen, went with my family. My mom won a gift card, so she was ordering for the three of us. She goes up to this kid at the register who looks like he dropped out of high school and never learned how to comb his hair. She orders 3 Peanut Buster Parfaits. His response? "Wha- 3?! ... man, you're serious?" He then continued to be completely incompitent with everything, giving my mom crap about how he didn't know how to ring up a card. And when he made the icecream, it literally looked thrown together. I've never seen worse Icecream creations, honestly, I've seen kids at Ponderosa make better sundaes.

You don't care about your job, that's great. But when it effects me, the end consumer, you've got a problem.

Me? This is going to seem nit-picky, but people who confuse the definitions between logical and pragmatic. Pragmatism, while logical, does not mean that logical = pragmatism. It's a matter of premise lining up with your conclusion. So its entirely possible to be logical and totally defy the idea of pragmatic ideals.

It's definition, sound and valid are different, and confusing those totally pisses me off to no end as well. It's entirely possible to be logical without being sound...it helps to be sound, but damn it validity is 90% of logical law, very few people care whether or not there is soundness to your argument when you're talking pure logic.

Edit for personal humor: I'm pretty sure I'm the only person on the planet this bothers.

Another big hate of mine is adverts. It seems you can't look at anything without somebody saying 'give us your money' . I totally refuse to click any ad or buy anything from anybody who knocks at my door, they'll get it slammed in their face. Any flyers I get, piles of crap through the door, go in the bin without being looked at. I decide what I want to buy and when, if I need it I'll do the research.

No need to use turn signals when driving. You already know where you're going.

Please, by all means, honk as much as possible when traffic doesn't move to your liking. Honking magically clears traffic.

If you've got a computer problem, give me as little information as possible. I know every possible to every possible problem and I love trying them all.

PIN number, ATM machine, VIN number, NIC card. Redundant redundancies.

I could care less. No, actually, you *couldn't* care less.

Whoever came up with the rule that certain words- ones that end in vowels especially- need apostrophes when pluralized should be shot. Twice.

I have other peeve's, but I could care less to list them now. I have to go to the ATM machine, use my PIN number, withdraw a few dollar's, and buy a new NIC card.

People who vote for someone they don't want to win because they "want their vote to count". Vote for who you want to win, not who you think is going to win!!! Example: People will vote for Obama or McCain even if they think Paul would be a better president and will even state that DON'T THINK WHO THEY ARE VOTING FOR WILL BE A GOOD PRESIDENT!!!!! Bwaaarable!!! that thinking pisses me off to no end.

Except when people steal things from you. Thanks to my own informed opinions. I dislike Apple because of their marketing tactics, the price of the hardware, and the general top-down lockin inherent in their products.

I like OSX and iPods and the Mac Pro towers. I don't like how I have to have an "Apple-labeled computer" to run OSX, supposedly HAVE to use iTunes with iPods (go Songbird), and need to pay far out the ass for the configurable, pseudo-upgradable Macintosh. Sure, they're great parts, but I'm very happy with the computer I have, and just sometimes like to tinker.

Walk out the front security door to find my 37-lb box sitting there, leaving me to haul it up two flights. Two other parcels for other tenants were sitting there as well.

To explain a bit more (and to vent more frustration because this is really, really something that irritates me to no end, even just thinking about it in reference to past discussion), I get so irritated when people automatically assume that the only way to be logical is to be pragmatic. It's entirely possible to be logical while avoiding a pragmatic approach.

I blame this entirely on having a logic class and the fact that Validity is all that matters in a complete philosophical discourse. We can talk soundness...but that's another monster and something I don't want to get into, because it starts confusing people and making them think logic = pragmatism.

BECAUSE OF COUNTRY MUSIC I'VE GONE CRAZY

I sit here by the men's room in this country bar
Consuming so much beer that I can't walk too far
A month ago my lovin' lady had a cow
When she heard that RALPH would not be back on NASHVILLE NOW;

Those old country songs that I've been singing all the time
Finally drove away my wife and drove me outta my mind
And the future's lookin' wierd, it's enough to make you scared
And Because Of Country Music, I've Gone Crazy.

I got holes in my boots, I got holes in my jeans
Hold on, I'll be right back, man you know what that means
Between the bar tab and the jukebox, my mind got up and went
I even voted for CLINTON for president;

Play some HANK, Play some WILLIE, Play some PATSY CLINE
Keep your finger off of CRAZY, It'll blow my mind
And the future is the pits, it's enough to make you....quit
And Because Of Country Music, I've Gone crazy.

How are you (as a guy) more likely to get stds (pick one):

1) Having sex with a dude...with a condom.
2) Having sex with that banging girl you met at a party, but you forgot your raincoat, but she says she's clean (and you're a bit tipsy), so you totally go for it anyway.

The questionnaire only asks about one of them (1), and if you answer yes, you get rejected before they even do the mini-physical.
