Swarm networking

Looking for someone who knows how to build the arch. for swarm networking or a good place to look at for getting started. Haven't been finding anything extremely helpful on basics or advice with it, don't want to have to pay for the books.

Man I've read very little about swarming and what I have read has been theory.
What are you trying to achieve? Would a more classic caching proxy server-style CDN accomplish what you are trying to do?

No I want to write a swarm networking GUI in Java. Its part of a two step plan. Take what is now Vuze/Azurues and cut it down and I don't care if its as good as long as it works.

Actual implementation of such a network would be a little over my head at the moment.... but if you can work out the high level architecture I'd love to help!

Actually right now I have no earthly clue on how to get started, in square 1 or 10,000. The only thing I can do right now is write the code for my search and build the basic interface(would take me some time). Yeah for sure over my head, for right now.

So any recommendations of where to start to learn this junk, besides Sun, books etc.
