I would like to get my hands on some good external sound cards anyone know of a good one for cheap?

You have either the M-Audio one or the Creative USB. The M-Audio doesn't support any Hardware accelleration, and I am not sure about the CL USB either, but if you did want it for gaming at all then the only option is one of the External Audigy series.

what bout hte creative external MP3+ ??? I have the onboard audio from Nvidia on my nf7-s but i want some more options besides whats on it for some ideas i have

Nothing "cheap" though is going to be as good as the on-board unless the get the Extigy or A2 XS though.
