Because everybody knows that USC should be playing for the National Title....yet again the BSC proves it is a piece of total and unadulterated crap! It's madness putting the #2 and #3 teams and the #1 and #4 teams together.

No but seriously moxon and preach you guys got it right... LSU will really only be considered national champs if they beat OU and mighigan beats USC. Its those easy in-state games that they played that killed their chances to be considered better than USC

Good point, tycho. If the games end up the way you describe, LSU deserves to be #1.
Don't you guys think that a 4 team/2 game playoff at the end of the NCAA season (which many of the smaller Divisions already do) would solve all these discrepancies between the Coaches Poll and the BSC?

Oh and BTW the way to fix the bcs is to have a 16 team playoff
16 team playoff?!
That is faaaar too many games... remember we are not talking about professionals here, we are talking about college students. Their first responsibility is to get an education. A full 11 or 12 game schedule along with a 16 team playoff (4 more games for the winner) is far too much time spend playing a game and not attending classes.

the canes are gonna whoop FSU just like the first time they played em at FSU this year. and yeah, I hope LSU and USC both win and we have a split title again to bring about the end of the BCS garbage. I-A needs playoffs, the only reason we don't have them is because of greedy bowl commitees.

we'll find out on january 1 when the game is played. even if miami was 'way better' than fsu, there would still be a possibility you could lose. unless you believe virginia tech is a better team than miami...
i'll be going to the orange bowl, anyone else?
btw, kanezfan, did you see jessica simpson... and her new stupid husband, but we'll just ignore him and concentrate on her... will be the halftime entertainment and they're going to do a concert the day before on the beach somewhere. now that's something both miami and fsu fans can like. she is soooo hot.

celcho, let me say this, i honestly truly believe that Miami and FSU are the best programs around, for the past 20 years. I might hate the noles, but I respect them, and I'm sure many FSU fans feel the same about Miami. It's like this sibling rivalry you know? We migh kick each other's ass, but we kick everyone's ass too. The Gators will be back with us soon too. As for VaTech, what can I say, they kicked our ass, fair and square. Tennessee, eh, we sucked. I don't know, I mean you score one touchdown agains't UT and ther's a very good chance you're playing for the national championship. oh well. Next year.
The OB will be a good game, I just really wish we'd had a chance to hand OSU their ass.
