hey everybody, this isn't as much of a problem as an annoyance. Ok, everytime i download an .exe file from the internet, vista makes me save the file before i can run it. On my other computer which runs xp, it lets me run the file directly. Is there a way to do that in vista?

Excuse me if I'm wrong but doesn't Vista give you the option to 'Run/Open' OR 'Save' the same as XP?
This should download the file to your temp files and then run it straight off? It's been a while since I used Vista but I'm sure it's pretty much the same as XP apart from the annoying permission pop-up.

no, the only options that i receive are save file or cancel. Also, there is no dialog to ask for permission(like from the administrator, which i am).
