Try reinstalling your sound drivers.
Uninstall the driver and install a newer version of the HD Audio Codec at www.realtek.com.tw.

i can't find the motherboard/driver update on the site. I dont know if im looking at the right thing or not. : /
It's literally the HD Audio Codec on the Realtek site as I described. Go here (http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=14&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false) to get it and download the one appropriate to your operating system.

I also had this problem with my Realtek audio driver. I only got BSOD's while playing certain games though. I'm curious as to when you get your BSOD's?
Getting the latest driver fixed my problem so it should work for you as well.
