Are these drivers FAKE?!

nVidia StarStorm 53.03 Xtreme Performance Graphics Drivers?

are they fake? or are they just not for the GeForce line?

i found them at www.suprnova.org and i dont know if i should install them or not..

Someone's hacked drivers, "Creatively" named I may add.

This is a modded driver, made by soembody named Xaero. Kind of like the work Omega does, Xaero takes the standard nVidia drivers and mods them. If you plan on going with a 3rd party driver, I'd trust Omega first... And if you want guaranteed, trust nVidia before that.

Not the Xtreme one, frankly. But that's just my personal opinion. I trust nVidia and Omega more.

Don't feel n00bish - I didn't know that a modded driver could be any good until last year sometime... now you have the knowledge of modded drivers, and you can own it yourself!

I think it's safe to say that when the only place you can find a certain modded driver is on Bit Torrent, that they aren't exactly going to be something to write home about.... or even download.

That's pretty much what occurred to me when I saw them on Suprnova.
