MSVCR71.dll hell

So I'm trying to setup BitTyrant on my new XP machine and its giving me problems.

Installed BitTyrant (based of Azureus) and then installed JVM.

Tried to launch said MSVCR71.dll was not found and then wouldn't launch.

No problem. Downloaded the dll and extracted it to c:\windows\system32\, and then registered it with 'regsvr32 MSVCR71.dll'.

Now upon launch I get



msvcr71.dll was loaded, but the DllRegisterServer entry point was
not found.
</pre>The file cannot be registered.


Any ideas?

I'm on XP SP3.

You shouldn't have to register the DLL. Delete your existing copy and try another.

Just to follow up, Thrax was right (who'd of known ;))

Re-downloaded the DLL from a different site, dragged it over and everything is golden.
