ECS's X58B-A Black Edition (http://www.guru3d.com/article/ecs-x58b-a-motherboard--review/) motherboard looks stunning, performs very well and costs under $250. Well done ECS!

Original Post (http://icrontic.com/ticker/ecs-x58b-a-motherboard)

Impressive. Now, let's see what ECS can do we they get serious about a tweaker's BIOS! There's always room for another "enthusiast" series of motherboards. ECS? No way, you might say. Well, I once said that about Gigabyte. I now prefer them over the expensive Asus. ECS is huge and well capitalized. If they put their mind to it, there are no limits. Asus and Gigabyte, watch your backs!

Remember when the K7S5A got a modded BIOS that allowed some overclocking? I wonder if somebody will release a tweaked BIOS for this board that'll open up more controls. That'd be awesome.
ECS is sort of the Hyundai of the motherboard companies. They're trying to move past their purely budget image lately with these Black Series boards. I'll bet by the end of next year they'll have something out there that catches the eye of overclockers, sort of like what Foxconn is doing.
