Update: Fry's will have the Asus P6T Delux on the 17th for $329.99. Actual units per store will vary but expect around 5-7 ONLY.

I wouldn't pay 300 for a video card, never mind a motherboard.

Not that it's not news worthy :)

Well, even though we don't have a Fry's Electronics here in Florida, the closest Fry's is in Milton, Georgia. I find that when Best Buy, Circuit City or CompUsa is out-of-stock on an item that I don't mind waiting a few days for, I just shop online at Fry's, especially if the shipping is free. Otherwise, I just wait. Oftentimes, I find the best pricing at CompUsa/TigerDirect though.

If you're looking for the best price, TommyC, try the Marketplace link on the top part of the page. It checks a bunch of online sites including TigerDirect and Newegg. I used to be all about TigerDirect back in the day, but once I found out about Newegg, they took TD's spot as my favorite place to shop. Cheers!

I wouldn't pay 300 for a video card, never mind a motherboard.Same here. Wait six months after market introduction for CPUs, video cards, and motherboards, and watch prices drop as much as 50%! Sure, it will no longer be the height of technology, but will be very close to it. Even then after waiting for 6 to 9 months, I will still purchase half or more of upgrade components used, for even greater savings.

Fry's will have... I've heard about them. Maybe...one will come to Anchorage to replace the CompUSA that went down with the CompUSA ship. The Alaska CompUSA was actually one of the very few that was turning in a nice profit when the corporation went down. All we have now are Best Buy (gag me!) and highly expensive mom & pop shops with terrible prices and even worse selection.

(yes, I would like some cheese with this whine!)
