There are plenty of free (and better) alternatives. To wit, Comodo (http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com/) is free. Here's a wealth of free software (http://www.firewallguide.com/freeware.htm) to protect your system.

Also, almost everyone has a networking router, which is a better firewall IMO. Software firewall = waste of resources.
