shrinking or splitting my system drive

i'm wanting to split my C drive (System) into two... i'm running windows XP Pro... i have made a backup copy of my system drive using Drive Image XML!

what should i do next? can i run a partition tool from windows? cheers

yeah if you have space on the drive to split it pick your favorite partition tool and split the drive. Alternatively you can format the drive, create two partitions on it and then recover your backup onto one of the partitions. But that's the longer way around.
