is 2000 better for just getting higher fsb speeds, or for all aspects of overclocking?

I don't see how the OS would affect ocing? Perhaps if you're using Win 98 or the like. But Win 2000/XP I think you'd be good to go. (Just a guess)
Windows 2000 allows higher overclocks (FSB in particular, but CPU too).

I think it may be that windows xp is more ''flashy and graphical'' than 2000, so it puts more stress on youre system? Im probably wrong though.

Im pretty sure Win2k does not track all the I/O on your hard drives, where as WinXP logs it in cache. Causes memory and drives to be more unstable. WinXP gets a big fart noise and thumbs down. :aol:
