As the thread title states it's almost time for the college bowls to begin. I will be in Miami watching my Bearcats take on VT in the Orange Bowl so it should be good times... Oh and remind me again what bowl that team up north is going to again? I forgot...

UT vs OSU, OU vs FL, PENN vs USC, etc there are going to be a lot of good bowl games to watch.

My coworker son is the star defensive tackle on the Northern Illinois Huskey's which play in the Independence Bowl on the 27th. Larry English Jr. is projected to be drafted late first round or second round as a outside linebacker. I just wanted to point that out if any of you want to see a really dominate college defensive player.... oh and I knew him when he was a little boy in High School (6'1" 220 lbs then.... now 6'3" 255 lbs).

I haven't decided who I'll cheer for in the Fiesta Bowl, though. I'm at Ohio State now, but my true allegiance lies with my undergrad school. So while I like a good Texas loss, I want the Big XII to prove itself against the vastly overrated Big Ten. Decisions, decisions.

OSU could and should have played better at bedlam, which usually comes down to who wants it more. But at least we're going to the holiday bowl and we're gonna tear some ass up. And as much as I think OU is over-rated and has too many ass hole fans who didn't even attend the university and like the university and only support the team because they are winning... I still might have to root for them over florida. tough call.

Our time is soon. very soon. Gundy's recruiting is beginning to pay off. Now he just has to get these guys to work together. Lots or raw talent, not a whole lot of cohesiveness.

- OK vs FL will be a good game regardless of who you are pulling for.

- OSU is going to do a lot better against Mack Brown than most people think.

- LOL at tech going to the cotton bowl. Also, cry more about your QB not going to the heisman ceremony even though he had zero chance of winning.

- I think Penn vs USC might end up being on of the best games.

- If Boones Pickins gives another billion or so to Ok. State they could be a top big 12 team. He pretty much finances to entire athletic department.
