hi people me and my brother always have arguements over whos lagging who...

so we've now got a 10mb internet and was wondering is there anyway of setting a computer to only taking a certain amount of internet speed

e.g. 3 computers connected to a router and want 3.5mb for 1 and 3.5 for another and just 3mb for 1 of them.

is there any like software to do this? or any ideas?

plz reply thanks

The only throttle would be in your router if said router supported the feature. Most Consumer (home use) routers do not have this capability unless you flash a 3rd party firmware to them (if available for that model)

With a 10Mb internet connection, none of you should notice lag playing games unless 1 of the PC's is downloading, if that is the case, stop the download on the 1 machine.
