I have a Gammon 5-tom drum kit with a 24-lug bass (i think), a snare with lever-engage snares, a 14' hi-hat, a 16' crash/ride, and an 18' crash/ride. It's brand new, had it less than a week.
One of the strings is off, and I haven't gotten around to fixing it, so I haven't practiced in awhile. I used to play a drum kit in a garage band, but haven't touched one in over ten years (and never owned one).

How about a video of Prime laying down a funky jam on that bass at IC LAN 08?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1zgFg9Yjy4&feature=channel_page
The video is dark, and sideways, but you're in it for audio anyways. Also: Keebler sleeping on the Sumo.
I own a simple 6 string Fender Squier Strat - essentially everyone's first guitar. I can play it, but I can't 'play' it. I know chords and the like but can't really jam on it. Despite LOVING music and being very much into it, I haven't yet had the time to sit down and really get into guitar. Someday soon hopefully.
http://icrontic.com/forum/album.php?albumid=35&pictureid=149
I also play drums... I'm learning drums moreso than guitar. I don't have a set though. I typically play a lot on other people's gear.
I also have a Bach Tenor B flat trombone, I played it for 7 years in highschool - Jazz Band being my favorite of the many activities involved with it. Ah, those days. I was second chair in the symphonic band my senior year, was actually very good at it. I miss those gigs...

just learn the blues scale man. its really all you need to have a good time jamming. unless you jam with freaks who don't like blues. hehe.

That's the way i do man. I like to shoot video in candid, when people don't know they're being recorded they don't act like they're being recorded. This is especially applicable to anyone giving any kind of 'performance', because they don't get nervous and it just flows.
The jam at the LAN, it was frigging awesome. I think that was the night everyone stayed up until like 6am drinking, your neighbors were walking around the house, Lord Canti playing guitar on rockband AND singing with the mic stuffed in his shirt, mass choas.

Well if this were posted a couple weeks ago I would have taken a picture of our music room, which everyone has taken everything home for winter break. But what we had is:
5 piece drumset with zildjian black symbol set
2 four string basses
4 electric guitars including ibanez et. al.
keyboard
peavy 16 channel analogue mixer
boss digital mixer / recording station
peavey powered mixer and 12" cab set (mine!)
mic set for the drums
SM58 for vocals
Tons of nice guitar and bass amps including one tube amp.
The room was pretty bitchin'. It was an empty room upstairs that we hauled all out gear into and made into a jam room. We even put a bunch of egg crates for beds that had been abandoned on the wall, which as best we could tell was just as good as acoustic foam.;D
I'd post more about the bass and electric guitars but I'm really horribly on them. I could play the intro to iron man on the bass but that is it. I really suck. But I would tear me up some drums just free styling, which is about all I do. I can't read sheet music for the drum set all that well. Too many notes at once.
We'd go up there and hook my laptop up to the digital mixer and fire up adobe soundbooth and have some fun. It was an excellent break from studying.
Alright, try as I might, I can't resist...However, I am not taking pics of all this stuff.
Guitars/Basses:
50th Anniversary Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster (Chrome hardware)
1994 Fender Standard Strat (Mexican Made)
199? Guild Tru-American Acoustic
1957 Gibson ES-125
1983 Aria Pro II Custom (Cliff Burton had the black version)
19?? "Bastard Bass" Sheffield neck on some generic Fender Jazz style body. Made fretless by yours truly.
Keyboards:
Casio Privia PX-120
1975 Fender Rhodes Mk I
1973 MiniKorg (monophonic, which Jeff has so graciously helped get into proper working order again)
Drums:
Sonor 5 piece kit w/various hardware (currently residing at my friends house)
Amps:
Fender Deville 4x10 (Custom modded by a local amp guru)
Fender Frontman 25R
1964 Gibson Skylark GA-5T
Ampeg BA115
197? Acoustic 320 Bass Head (currently residing in prime's basement)
SWR 8x8 Bass Cabinet (product name: Henry the 8x8)
Mics:
Couple of Shure SM-58's
Audix CX-111 Condenser (once used to record Reverend Horton Heat)
Effects Pedals/Asscessories:
All ;) But I only use 4 or less at a time depending on what I'm playing.
My two favourites are my SmallStone Phase shifter and my SansAmp Bass DI.
Jeez, after reading all that I think I might have a small gear buying problem...

Really nice body wood there.
Well, I don't play them, but since I have to live with them all around me  , thought I'd post hubby's guitars. Some he buys, but especially enjoys when he can buy the separate components, pick the woods for body & neck, etc. & build them himself. He doesn't play favorites, they're all fiddled with in loving rotation. Wait, that sounded.. never mind. :)

Vantage VS5 six string (with actine fishman underbridge pickup)
Vantage VS12 12 string
Epiphone SG
Some cheap unbranded bass that I picked up to try and learn and record with
Cubase 4 Essential with various pluggins
Allesis RA300 amp

Line 6 Toneport UX1 interface with Pod factory amp sim
Maudent Short 300W Sub
Technics 1210 mk3 Turntables x2

Numark DXM06 mixer
And I only live in a 1 bed flat!!!! Good job I have a pair of Technics RP DJ1200 headphones too! lol
Will try and sort some pick soon
Hi, this is Mr LIN, and thanks for all the kind words about my assemblage.
To Prime - I'd love to hoist a few beers with you one day when I start drinking again :) but a coffee would be good, too. I bought that Koa body in 1982 and it was sold by DiMarzio when they tried to get into the accessory business. Now they only sell pickups. I was lucky to get it because I have yet to see another piece of Koa quite like that one, especially as a one piece. It became the second "real" bass I owned.
As you can see, I'm strictly a 4-banger, so to me, that Aria 6-string you have there looks like quite a handful. I have trouble keeping track of 5 strings, let alone 6 ;)
To Buddy J - The Rick is my latest acquisition. I had to get one because nothing sounds quite like a Rick and I always wanted to add one for its tone. It's a great player. I'd also love to own a new 4003 one day. As for the '66 Jazz, I consider myself very fortunate to own one. That was the result of 2 separate trades involving a total of 10 basses until I could finally get it. Out of five '60s vintage jazz basses, this was the cream of the crop. Once I played it, I could understand why it had all that wear - it really sings.
Lots of neat gear here, but what particularly caught my eye, is -tk's '75 Fender Rhodes, one of my favorite keyboards of all time. Nothing sounds like them and they're on so much of the music that I grew up listening to that, to me, they're a standard. Nice!
And Nomad, anything that you play that is totally homemade is absolutely the sh!t. Very cool.
P.S. Love that video, Prime!

It's never been easier to Create your own IC account (http://icrontic.com/register.php), by the way ;)
I was the same way - when I first saw it I was really intimidated by the six strings, but the 'landing strip' isn't as wide as most 6ers I've seen. Even at the high end, I can get my admittedly stubby hands around it. It didn't take long to get used to.
Lucky me, I get to play in a band with -tk so all that sweet gear is part of my musical life :D
