Capturing video off of youtube?

Is there any way to capture video from YouTube? Yes, I could set up my Mini-DV camera to videotape directly fro the LCD monitor, but the quality wouldn't be very good.

I tried emailing the creator of the videos, but haven't gotten any response yet.

If you used Firefox there is a plug-in to do so (I believe you use IE though). You'd have to use another method through a media player I believe then. (Much like the upgraded version of Quicktime, Quicktime Pro.)

Just use a service like keepvid .com you plug in the youtube website and it'll give you a normal and hires (if available) file you can download. It's not illegal to do so.
