Crap!!! I got my first serious one. and it wasnt close. It was a 5.0 in San berndino. I am in Riverside in a 3 story house and I thought a car had run into the house it shook so bad.

Everyone is laughing running out of their rooms drinking and toasting each other.

Skeered the crap out of me.

Yup we felt it up here in Apple Valley. Loudest quake I've ever heard in my short time in CA.

Sounded like a car hit our house, dog was barking like some was someone was breaking into the house by going through the wall!!

PA/OH are stable. We're doing fine over here on the whole earthquake thing.

Wisconsin, too, is startlingly earthquake-free. Now snow, on the other hand...

Tex, I thought you were going back to Colorado. How did you wind up in California?

No kidding...

I felt a little motion in my ocean down in south OC...3rd story apt. Nothing too major, but the beach cities are a long way away from San Bernadino....

We had a 3.0 in Lancaster while I was home for holiday. I'd never felt an earthquake before (in 24 years of living in PA); we thought someone had hit the building. It was front-page news the next morning.

My brother and I both recall a small shockwave from an Earthquake in Ohio when we were about 10-12.

I was mending barbed wire fences and chasing horses 7 weeks ago in the Rocky mountains I bailed right before the serious snow hit.

I am in Riverside California waiting for another computer contract job to hit. Had a friend here that said come hang for a while somewhere warm for the winter and I bit.... Getting skeered the economy is so bad for doing what I do. Seems a little better after the new year. Starting to get more hits but still....

Sunny California vs the snow covered Rockies...tough choice. ;) Good luck grabbing that next contract job.
