Not sure how to exactly describe it.

Sometimes my GPU does not like to send signals to my monitors,
First I thought my 9800gtx was going bad, so,
I picke up a gtx 260 and a 600w PSU.

Nope, problem still continues.
I'm not sure if its a mobo side error, or the PCI-e slot is going bad.
Its a Asus p5n-e sli

side not, my c2d e6600 is on stock cooling an its idling at
anywhere from 50-60. @ load it hits mid 70.

my monitors are fine, i tested them on a different comp, an the cables are brand new too.

Mid 70 makes me uncomfortable. I'd get an inexpensive, quality heatsink and some good thermal paste. It's a cheap upgrade that'll net you a healthier system.

As for your video card, are your drivers updated? Are the cards seated correctly in the slot?

A little to warm for my liking, I'd look toward the "clips" on your stock cooler, sound like one might not be locked in.

What kind of case cooling do you have? If you don't have adequate airflow it could cause your cpu and gpu to overheat.
