With the Stanley cup finals locked @ 2 apiece there isn't much time left in yet another thrilling post season, but here it is nonetheless. This year and seen many shocks and dissappointments, I only hope we see one more of each with the Ducks and the Devils respectively.:wow: :banghead:

I just hope the team that got its name from a disney movie gets destroyed, either on the ice or in a horrible bus explosion... it'd be ironic if they were hit by a drunk driver, like emilio estevez.

If the Ducks win Disney better not make a movie out of it. :)

Up here in Canada there is a sports station called TSN. On there daily sports show they had a monkey picking the winners of the different series in the playoffs. This same monkey ended up picking the Ducks to go all the way. I find it quite funny that a monkey can pick a team to win better than the sportscasters. Oh and the monkey picked the final as well in the semi finals. It was dead on when it picked the devils and ducks.

I only hope the team named after the personification of evil gets destroyed either on the ice or in a horrible air accident. Wouldn't it be ironic if their plane went down after takeoff because of a flock of ducks in their engines.

Whatever happens Anaheim has had a great year and a championship would obviously be icing on the cake. They pulled their game together quite well last night, but will have to overcome NJ's command of home ice in game 7 which would be no mean feat.

Washington had a rough year even with Jagr. We did have fun sweeping them in the finals a few years back though.

Didn't see all the game but Anaheim sure had Brodeurs number lastnight. I'm kind of sad that there is only one game left for the year but GO DUCKS! And just say no to Disney hockey movies.

What's your thoughts on the collective bargaining agreement guys? Are we going to have games to watch next season?:(

Word is that Jagr is on the trading block - but no one wants to pick up his salary.

Maybe he'll end up like Lemieux and own the whole dern team.:D

I think we will. Hopefully the NHL has learned what to do right by watching the mistakes of baseball.

What you won't see is a lot of high-valued, long-term signings this summer because of the CBA. Teams will be tentative about high-falootin' signings. Along with fixing the CBA is to put a damn muzzle on the Ranjerks who managed to singlehandedly ruin hockey by overpaying marginal players, thus raising the stakes for everyone else.

Your team sucks, your GM sucks, and you've ruined hockey. Hey Bettman, maybe you should dissolve the Rangers and their front office. Those doody-for-brains in their front office need to get jobs at McDonald's.

Hey! What about those of us who sometimes eat at McDonalds?

You trying to kill us? (At least arteriosclerosis takes a while...:D )

I hope so. I'm not familiar enough with how it all works to really comment with much detail. These things do seem to have a way of working out. The Wings have some big contracts on the table themselves, like Fedorov for instance.

Tonight we'll have a new champion. I have no idea what to predict with the way this series has gone.

I think the ducks will have problems next season. They will not get the top picks and will be the last to choose players. Their goalie will be a hot object for the big teams such as Detroit and the money-makers NYR. I dont think they can ceep him.

I feel a little for Teemy Selanne who left a season ago and probably won´t get an oppurtunity like this again. Go Ducks!

Oh well, I really hate to see NJ win as much as I hate to see Anaheim lose. The Ducks gave it a good shot, but in the end NJ was too powerful:mad:
