My previous employer had Zappos as a client and some of the stories I heard about the place were amazing.

For instance, the company sends out a biweekly e-mail with a cash incentive for employees to quit. It started at $200 and has since grown to nearly $2500 (they've had to continue to increase the incentive because noone was taking it). No questions asked - if you'd like to leave and take the money you're free to do so.

They're so dedicated to customer service that they'll pay off their own employees to make sure they have the absolute cream of the crop working for them - the employees that want to work for them.

I'm gonna have to relook at buying shoes online. So hard finding stuff that'll fit me but that free shipping is a nice incentive.
