Know any good, free software for making stick animations

Hmm...

Flash animation is going to be the best method for doing stick figures. I'm primarily a 3D animator, so outside of Abobe's own products I don't know of many free Flash animation packages.

But I did find this website that seems to link to every bit of open-source (i.e. free) flash related software: http://osflash.org/projects

And your best bet is probably going to be Ajax Animator (http://antimatter15.110mb.com/ajaxanimator/build/) This is a very impressive AJAX based interface for animating in Flash.

For 3D there's Blender (http://www.blender.org), which is an open-source animation package. It's pretty powerful.

If you just want to to animated stills you can do them in the gimp with the gimp animation plugin also.
