We can't forget the secret MS theme that never was, Royale Noir. (http://www.istartedsomething.com/20061029/royale-noir/) This bad boy requires no patching or dll updates, and is a nice, functional dark theme without too many glass effects.

Big fan; use it at work on my only XP machine.
