My mom and dad are moving to a new house where DSL isn't currently an option. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions other than using hughesnet or wildblue...and if you do it would be great. Also, has anyone ever successfully petitioned a phone company (or cable internet) to get DSL in your area quickly? They are like two miles from a major metropolitan area so I know that the service isn't completely out of the question it seems.
