I am having a weird problem with my windows live messenger.
My history saving options are grayed out & i don't know why they were checked few days ago but i don't why they are grayed out all of a sudden. It is very useful to me as it saves my MSN chat history which i really need.
Any fix around this problem.
My OS is Win XP Sp3.
Here is a SS of my Live messenger.

You could try uninstalling and reinstalling messenger.

That i already did.
Though i will try that again.
Be sure to uninstall completely. Uninstall, then delete any file or folder that has to do with messenger, including the ones in "My Documents". Make a backup of the logs if you want to keep them before deleting.

Nope no use.
Uninstalled it completely, registry entries e.t.c
Its still grayed out.
Or
someone can tell me about some kind of addon for messenger to save chat logs.
http://www.msgplus.net/ could be what you want.
A quick goole search revealed that others have had the same problem, but without any good solution.
