I have installed Advanced system care but am not able to remove it, does anyone kno if its a safe programme?????

Never heard of it. Have you tried uninstalling in safe mode?

Try reinstalling it and then see if it will uninstall. It is listed on cnet's Download.com

They claim it is NOT spyware....
