New Online FPS [Archive] - Icrontic Forums

I am getting a new comp in a week or so, and I wonder what recent FPS someone would recommend. Right now I play Fistful of Frags, a western mod for HL2, and looking for another game.

If anyone has a game to suggest, I'm all ears. FWIW, I prefer games that I can walk into and play, since I do't spend a lot of time gaming and don't want to waste time with the whole "experience" thing.

This + L4D. Although waiting for L4D2 would be more beneficial to your wallet.

I tried TF 2 way back and my ole comp couldn't run it very fgast, but it was kinda cool. Maybe it's more fun with an fps higher than 3... thanks.

This. For sure. There's just something about killin' zombie that's oh so gratifying. Also, Portal is wicked entertaining albeit single player and rather short.
