So I've just worked out (arms & abs), just made dinner, and a roaring thunderstorm starts up. First thing that starts to happen: a spot in the foundation underneath the front steps begins sloshing water into the basement. :mad2:

Nature can bite me. Now I have to figure out why there's water coming in, how I can route it to the sewer drain hole (which it seems to be dancing around almost deliberately), and whether it's going to pose a problem to the stuff I have stored in that area.

Life stinks sometimes.

Is this coming from a crack? Do you have brick steps?
If so you can fix this, I used to work for a Mason Co. If you can tell me more

Most likely. Water and stored stuff don't seem to get along.
Stuff loses if you don't keep it dry.
