Anyone know GWX2.0

I have always wanted to make Silent Hunter 3 run at a higher res then the very limited video options allow. Most everyone who mods this game recommends GWX2.0 (or an updated version), but this requires a complete uninstall of every single SH3 file including save files. I have a very limited history in game mods so I am praying someone here has already been down this road and could advise me before I throw away MANY hours of gaming bliss.

Not many Silent Hunter 3 fans, I see. Truly a great sim and I recommend it to all. Well for future reference, GWX (Grey Wolf Expansion) is not backwards compatible, as it seems, and makes a complete uninstall of the game files a requirment. It's quite alright because the expansion pretty much makes this a "new" game. I love it!

BTW, for graphical tweeks another fourm sugested a program called nHancer, which I am currently running. This seems to work well with many of my games to date, but is anyone here running the same app?
