Tips for buying airplane tickets online??

what are some tips when u buy airplane tickets online???

I will be going to china for 1 month in summer sometimes between june and july.

IS there certain days of the week that if i fly is cheaper?? or certain dates??, and what place to buy??
U might think i'm thinking about it too early, i want to start searching, so i don't end up paying a lot when i have to buy it in like may or so.

Are you looking for as cheap as possible?
If so go with a Chinese based air line (Air China).
You must try all combinations of dates. The airline won't tell you which combination is lowest cost.
I would suggest that you use a local travel agent that is Chinese.
Is this for a tour?
I suppose that you will have a special letter of invitation so that you can get a longer visa. They are starting to snotty about it.

i'm just going there for fun, and i can only stay for one month, i have to get back so i can make some money before i start going to college. i'm looking for as cheap as possible, i don't care if it's 2 or 3 connections. I will only be bringing a backpack and a handbag probably.
