I've dealt with stubborn viruses in the past by using a Linux LiveCD (typically Ubuntu) to boot off the CDROM and then thru the Linux file manager delete files on the C: drive.
What would be handy is to be able to boot a LiveCD and then run a virus scanner on the system drives ---- anyone doing this now?
